HOW IT WORKS

    PICK A TIME

    Covered courts when it is hot or raining, open-air courts for the evening breeze. Book online or just show up.

  2. 02

    SHOW UP

    Rent a paddle if you need one. Closed-toe shoes help, but bare feet work too — the staff plays that way.

  3. 03

    PLAY

    30-minute slots, book as many as you want. Or roll into Open Play 5–9pm and rotate games with whoever is around.

FINDING US

Off the main road through Amed village, in the jungle. 15 minutes from Tulamben, 45 minutes from Candidasa, 2 hours from Sanur, 3 hours from Ngurah Rai airport. Free parking on site. The last stretch off the main road is a bit rough — drive slow, follow the signs.

SIMPLE RATES

80k per 30-minute court slot. Open air courts 50% off between 10am and 3pm — the quiet midday window. Open Play is 50k per person, 5–9pm every day. Paddle rental is available if you need one. Cash, card, or transfer on site.

FAQ

COMMON QUESTIONS

We're off the main road through Amed village, tucked into the jungle. It's a little hidden — WhatsApp us and we'll send a pin that drops you at the entrance.

Booking ahead is recommended — the booking page shows live availability and locks in your court. Walk-ins are welcome too if courts are free, but weekends and mornings fill up.

Scooter works from most of East Bali — Amed, Tulamben, Tirta Gangga, Candidasa. For Ubud, Sanur, or the airport, a private driver is easiest (2–3 hours depending on traffic). There's free parking for cars and scooters on site.

Not included — but paddle rental is cheap (20k) and available right at the desk. We have beginner paddles and performance paddles. Most first-timers just rent on site; regulars tend to buy their own.

Absolutely. Pickleball is specifically designed to be easy to pick up — most first-timers are rallying within their first game. Open Play welcomes all levels, and we can connect you with a coach if you want a proper lesson.

Yes, we're family-friendly. The ball is plastic and slow, the court is small, and the staff will happily jump in with a kid who needs a warm-up. We even have a weekend class just for kids!

Cash in IDR works, and so does bank transfer and QRIS. Card accepted too. No pre-payment required for a court booking — you pay when you arrive.

Covered courts have a full roof — shade in the sun, dry in the rain. Open air courts have no roof, so the midday discount (50% off, 10am–3pm) compensates for the heat. Evenings on open air are great because the jungle cools off quickly after sunset.

Of course. Most regulars have their own — it also saves you the paddle rental fee. No difference in treatment either way; house paddles are there for rent if you need them.

Open Play runs 5–9pm every day. 50k per person for the whole session. Show up, put your paddle in the rack, and get rotated into games as courts free up. Levels are mixed — total beginners and strong players both end up there.
